How Do Dreams Transform People’s Lives?

Millions of people in this world feel hopeless, stuck, or at rock bottom.
For our founder Charlie, it was when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor that almost killed him. For others, it’s when they are facing homelessness, battling cancer, or experiencing depression. In these moments, people lose sight of a vision for a better future. All they know is their struggle.
But Charlie discovered that a dream can change everything.
At rock bottom, depressed, 305 lbs, and a brain tumor, there was one thing that kept him going: his dream of being an athlete.
Over the course of the next 12 months, he ran 4 marathons, completed an ironman, lost 125 pounds, and reversed his brain tumor. His dream saved his life, and he is now dedicating the rest of his life to making dreams come true for others in need of a miracle.

This Is Where The Dream Machine Foundation Comes In.

Together with our community, we make inspiring, life-changing dreams come true for people who once were at where Charlie was: rock bottom, stuck, hopeless. Since our start in 2018, we have been able to get homeless people off the streets, to help children with disabilities launch their dream business, to help tornado victims rebuild their homes, and much more. There is one thing, however, that separates us from any other foundation and it is our army of love.

Our Featured Dreams

Rubi & Charlee

Rubi & Charlee met in the hospital where they were both battling cancer. They became the best of friends and were joint at the hip throughout treatment. Charlee was cleared to go home before Rubi and they were heartbroken to be separated. We visited them both separately and coincidentally they both told us it was their dream to visit Hawaii. They had not seen each other in 9 months and had no idea they were going to be sitting beside each other on the plane… to Hawaii! Both Rubi & Charlee are now in remission!

Grayson

10 year old Grayson was born blind, but doesn’t let that stop him from doing everything that everyone else can do. He loves music, specifically playing the drums, and traveling. When we met Grayson, he was hosting a lemonade stand outside of his house to raise money for his dream trip to “see” the Great Wall of China, while he still has a little vision in one eye. We hosted a giant lemonade stand for Grayson where over 500 people showed up to buy lemonade, including the one and only Travis Barker. Grayson even got to sing and play drums with Travis!

Vincent

Vincent has 2 dreams in life. One, to be a WWE wrestler and two, to take care of his sister Janie who became paralyzed after being drugged on a date. Janie’s bathroom wasn’t big enough for her bed to be wheeled into, so Janie had to be showered in the shower with the garden hose. We raised Janie $120,000 and got her bathroom remodelled so her mom could shower her in a real bathroom, like she deserves. As for Vincent, aka Triple V, we threw him his very own wrestling event in Orlando called DreamMania with some of the top WWE wrestlers. Triple V got to live out his wildest wrestling dreams that night, and since has been signed to a wrestling agency where he gets booked for events and shows!

Bri Bri

When we met Bri Bri, she was fighting stage 4 Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Cancer. Bri Bri’s dream was to go to Hawaii and she was trying to save the money by selling handmade bracelets. We helped Bri Bri make a logo and a website, and we also made a post to our followers online. Bri Bri’s “Full Circle” bracelets went viral and she has since made over $100,000. Bri Bri went on her dream trip to Hawaii and she is now cancer free!

Xavier

Xavier has a love of boxing and trains everyday after school at his local boxing gym. Behind closed doors, Xavier was really struggling with being bullied at school, and on top of that, he couldn’t afford a real boxing kit for a fight that he had coming up. We surprised Xavier with the best of the best boxing kit for his fight AND a FaceTime call from our friend and boxer, Jake Paul who runs his own foundation called “Boxing Bullies.” Jake Paul then flew Xavier and his family out to his fight in Dallas, where Xavier got to meet Jake in person.

Lyla

Lyla is young girl who suffers from CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) in her leg. When we met her, she was selling cookies to try and pay for a medical treatment that could help alleviate the pain of her CRPS. Lyla’s dream is to actually be a baker and loves to bake to help distract her from the pain. We went to St.Louis and helped Lyla launch her very own cookie business, which sold over $500,000 worth of baked goods! Lyla was able to afford her medical treatment and even got surprised with her very own pet pig!

Matthew

Matthew is a young man who has cerebral palsy, and his dream is to be able to walk on his own someday. His other dream was to have his own inspirational clothing brand that inspires people to always do their best and never give up. We helped Matthew launch his clothing brand VAKP (Violets Are Kinda Purple), and he sold over $350,000 worth of clothing. He has since collaborated with the legendary Mike Tyson and is getting closer everyday to his pursuit of being able to walk on his own.

Olivia

Olivia’s dream was to have her own clothing line that was inclusive to everyone, specifically amputees, since Olivia had lost her leg to cancer. We helped Livi create her clothing brand, “Dreami By Livi”, and threw her her very own fashion show! Dreami By Livi sold over $150,000 of clothes and was even featured on Big Boy’s radio and KTLA. Livi got to live out her wildest dreams and meet some of her favourite celebrities before she sadly lost her 14 year battle to cancer on the 28th September 2023. RIP to our beautiful angel Livi.

Ariel

Ariel was in a freak accident at the gym which left him paralyzed from the waist down. Ariel loves basketball, specifically Steph Curry and has a dream of being a basketball coach for kids one day. With the NBA playoffs coming up at the time, we took Ariel on a road trip, in our RV, up to San Francisco for the finals, where he got to sit court side AND meet his favorite player… Steph Curry!!!

Alaina

Alaina was diagnosed with bone cancer, which unfortunately resulted in her left leg being amputated. Alaina’s dream was to see snow for the first time in her life. We surprised Alaina with a dream trip to Vail, Colorado to see snow, make a snowman, have snowball fights and make snow angels! Alaina is now in remission!

Jaxson

If there is anything Jaxson loves, it’s basketball! But he was struggling to be accepted onto any basketball team in his neighborhood. We took Jaxson under our wing and not only did we get him onto a basketball team, but we also took him to a Lakers basketball game where he got to sit court side and meet NBA player James Harden.

Lily

It’s many little girls’ dreams to meet a real life princess, but for Lily, who was battling glioma cancer, that dream got to come true when she met Princess Sarah Culberson from West Africa. They spent a special day together getting makeovers, playing princess dress up and even got to go to Disneyland where Lily got to meet her favorite Disney princess, Ariel.
